After looking at my sleep study, Rhonda started the process with a detailed explanation of the device and how it could help me. I was a bit apprehensive at first since I was told the CPAP is a wonderful device that would give me a better quality of sleep. However, as we all know, the CPAP has many flaws including it's loud, requires daily maintenance, and if you move in your sleep it falls off. But the most difficult part for me was the marks it left on my face from the head gear required. It was expensive and I almost never used it as it was cumbersome. Back to Dr. Fabey's sleep apnea device. The two tests required were a breeze. It took less than an hour and Dr. Fabey explained everything about the test before he started. The two tests required were a non-event, nothing even close to painful like I had envisioned. Actually, no pain at all! Then a mold was made and the device was delivered. Dr. Fabey warned me that my jaw may be a bit sore at first. He was so wrong, haha. No pain and I had a great nights sleep! But most of all, the device is comfortable to wear.
